Strong Support for LED Safety Tactiles
There’s strong community support for SmarterLite’s Vivacity LED Safety Tactiles. The Tactiles were installed on Swanston Street in Melbourne, with funding from Victoria’s Transport Accident Commission (TAC). The project was managed by VicRoads (now Department of Transport) on their behalf.
In addition to a survey that found good support from a range of pedestrians, social media comments have been positive.
