In response to client needs, this week OmniGrip Direct has published a list of Authorised Suppliers on its website. This is to enable engineering and purchasing officers in Councils and government agencies to verify contractor claims that they are an authorised supplier of OmniGrip’s surfacings.

OmniGrip Direct’s Chief Executive, Darren Scerri, explained, “This is an important step in increasing transparency and accountability in the surfacing and linemarking industry. We are aware of suppliers and contractors claiming to be authorised suppliers of our products despite their licensing agreement having expired – they’ve failed to remove the claim from their marketing materials.

Only authorised suppliers that continue to meet our stringent requirements will receive the raw materials necessary to provide OmniGrip branded products.

This is important to ensure that OmniGrip’s products continue to be seen as the most durable and skid-resistant surfacings available in Australia and New Zealand.”

As part of their due-diligence, State and Local Government agencies are encouraged to check that their suppliers and contractors are listed on OmniGrip Direct’s website. If the company is not listed they should seek clarification from OmniGrip Direct and the contractor.

Note: OmniGrip Direct is a SmarterLite Pty Ltd company.
